I bought these as a back for expensive waterproof pants ($100+) I bought for a trip to Antarctica. Our first zodiak trip off the ship was in a light rain and I wore the expensive pair. I got wet! The next trip out we still had some rain and I switched to these and they worked great! Didn't get wet at all. I will be returning the expensive one and keeping these. My only complaint is they were a little long for me but I'm 5

Fits great over fully armored motorcycle jeans/cargo pants.Folds flat and lightweight to keep in your gear bag/backpack for emergencies.Used them in continuous heavy rain for 8+ hours as a motorcycle instructor and held up like a champion, comfortable all day, fits snug so it doesn't flap around in the wind, keeps from touching the hot exhaust pipes and engine covers and potentially melting. (The snug fit may mean you should get 1 size bigger. I am usually a 32" and I ordered a 34" and it fits perfectly as an outer rain gear over armored pants)
Fits my size of XL with room to spare. Easy to put on or take off quickly over clothing. The material is not flimsy and is very waterproofed with seam tape.
We took these to Iceland to keep us dry while hiking. Never once in our ten day trip did the rain get through. We had to wear these nearly every day and they help up well. Easy to shake dry and they’re ready for the next day.
